Designed by George Fazio, Cranes Landing was opened for play in 1975. It is situated on 170 acres of suburban parkland, only a 50 minute drive from downtown Chicago.
Cranes Landing is a short, yet challenging course built on fairly flat terrain. Water hazards come into play on at least sixteen different occasions.
Cranes Landing features bent grass tees, greens and fairways, tightly bunkered greens and scenic vistas of the Des Plaines River and surrounding woodlands. With scenic water on 14 holes, Cranes Landing is sure to create a challenging environment for golfers of all abilities.
Directions:
From OHare Airport: Take I-294 North. Exit Half Day Road (RT 22). Turn left onto Half Day Road. Continue about 3 miles to Milwaukee Avenue (RT 21). Turn left onto Milwaukee Avenue. Go 1 block to Marriott Drive.
From Downton: Take I-94 West. Exit Half Day Road (RT 22). Turn left onto Half day Road. Continue about 3 miles to Milwaukee Avenue. Go 1 block to Marriott Drive. Turn left onto Marriott Drive.
