Talking Stick Golf Club offers 36 holes of magic in the desert, designed by course architects Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore.
The two courses blend with tranquil desert surroundings to provide a serene, yet challenging environment for players of all abilities.
The North Course, which is located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Com-munity, offers players the chance to run their shots. The greens are open, the fairways wide, and the roughly carved bunkers look as if theyve been there for hundreds of years.
"GOLFWEEK" selected the North Course 82nd among "Americas 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1999. Talking Stick has wide, grassy fairways and large greens. Its as green a course as youll ever see in the desert.
The South Course at Talking Stick is a straight-forward course. What you see on the tee will tell you what to do. It is parkland-styled, with trees and water and also features subtle elevation changes, fingered bunkers, tiered landscaping and native cottonwoods and hardwoods.
Green fees at this course include tax.
