More than any other resort in America, eight courses grace Pinehursts 2,000-acre landscape.
Ross, Fazio, Maples and Jones have left their mark at Pinehurst to make each course a unique test of golf. Try the classic courses, like No. 1 and No. 3, both perfect for an unspoiled afternoon.
The No. 2 course will be hosting the 2005 US Open this year. Walk in the footsteps of the legends.
No. 4 opened in 2000 and is the site of the 2008 US Amateur, it offers a championship challenge to those who dare, including over 140 pot bunkers that dot the landscape.
Opened in 1961, No. 5 holds true to a key Ross feature- Mother Nature as the best guide in golf architecture. The course has more water hazards to negotiate than any other course at Pinehurst.
No. 6 sees new changes in 2004, including brand new greens and reshaping the fairways- making it a strong addition to the championship golf set at Pinehurst.
No. 7, newly renovated in 2003, is one of the boldest and most dramatic golf coursee at Pinehurst.
No. 8. As the site of the PGA Club Pro Championship in 1997 and 1998, it is a proven championship course that daunts and delights all who play it.
Pinehurst continually strives to create the most unique, exciting and challenging golf experience for those lucky enough to play there.
