Salt Creek Golf Club, formerly The Auld Course, is set among the foothills of Mt. Miguel at the east end of H Street (Proctor Valley Road) and Hunte Parkway in Chula Vista. This location is beneficial for several reasons. First, it allowed the course to be laid out in such a way that housing projects and other types of "modern growth" will never disturb its peaceful serenity. Salt Creek Golf Club is bordered to the north by a state park and surrounded on the other sides by protected habitats.

Salt Creek Golf Club is located about 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. From the 805 Freeway, take the East H Street exit for 7 miles. Turn left on Hunte Parkway to the golf course entrance.
