The Vineyard at Escondido
Rates: $23 - $55Includes cartThe Vineyard at Escondido is a great track with contrasting 9s. The front nine takes you through some environmentally sensitive areas so keep your ball away from the swamp and water. The front 9 also forces you to play a lot of target golf. The first hole is relatively benign. Dont be afraid to blast a shot down the left side. It opens up after the row of trees that line the front part of the fairway. The next 2 holes force you to play precise approaches. Always play to the fat side of the greens here and get out pars if you can. The short par 4 seventh is reachable with a well struck driver. Make sure you can carry it at least 260, otherwise its in the swampy area. The back 9 takes you through the wine country thats behind the course. Rolling hills and stiff winds can play havoc with a good a score from the front 9. Try your best to keep the ball in the fairway and hit the center of the greens.Directions:From Interstate 15Take Via Rancho Parkway Exit EastHead One Mile to San Pasqual Road and turn rightThe driveway to the course is mile down the road on the right
