Created within a quiet, natural foothill setting of mature oak trees and rolling hills, San Juan Oaks Golf Club is the brain child of PGA TOUR PRO Fred Couples and award winning course architect Gene Bates. The front nine plays through a valley replete with lakes, interconnecting streams and native grasslands. Play into some of the holes on the back nine takes the golfer 150 to 200 feet above the valley floor for some spectacular views of pristine California countryside.

San Juan Oaks Golf Club offers more than golf. The clubhouse is a one-story, early California mission-style structure with 19,000 sq ft. in the main clubhouse and a 6,000 sq. ft. facility that houses the Club’s golf carts, rest rooms and locker rooms.

San Juan Oaks’ main dining room seats up to 300 guests and features a spectacular high ceiling and huge wood burning fireplace. The Fred Couples Room is a private conference/board room offering a seating capacity of 40 and interesting displays of Fred Couples’ trophies, awards, photography and other career memorabilia.

San Juan Oaks Golf Club received special recognition as one of the top courses in North America by Golf Digest readers and ranked in the top ten California golf courses for good service, and in the top ten for value. San Juan Oaks Golf Club was the only California golf course to rank high in both categories. It was one of only 30 courses in all of North America to achieve special recognition for both service and value.

North on Highway 1, take 156 East near Castroville that will run into 101 North. Stay on 101 North for 8-Miles and take the 156 East exit for San Juan Bautista/Hollister. Stay on 156 East for 7 - Miles and turn right at the Union Road signal light. Our entrance is about 300 yards off Union Road.

FROM SALINAS
North on 101 for 20-Miles and take the 156 East exit towards San Juan Bautista/Hollister. Stay on the 156 East for 7 Miles and turn right at the Union Road signal. Our entrance is about 300 yards off Union Road.

FROM SANTA CRUZ
South on 1 to 129 to 101 South for 2-Miles. Take the 156 East exit (San Juan Bautista/Hollister) for 7 - Miles. Turn right at the Union Road signal. Our entrance is about 300 yards off Union Road.

FROM SOUTH CENTRAL VALLEY
West on 152 over Pacheco Pass. Take 156 West towards San Juan Bautista. Turn left at the 4th signal light (Union Road, approximately 10.5 miles). Our entrance is about 300 yards off Union Road.

FROM SAN FRANCISCO
South on 101 toward San Jose. Continue south past San Jose toward Gilroy then continue south on 101, 10-Miles south of Gilroy - take 156 East for approximately 7-Miles. At the 2nd stoplight (Union Road) turn right. Our entrance is about 300 yards off Union Road.
